Birthday Party Weekend
On the
4th February 1990 we opened our doors for the very first time! (Although
for some of you old enough to remember we were teaching three years previously to that
at the Bishop Auckland Town Hall!). To celebrate our Studio’s 22nd Birthday
(and our 25th in Bishop Auckland) we’ve put together a fantastic weekend of
dance……….

February from 2pm – 7pm. A fantastic afternoon of very special workshops
for our Studio members with Gary Adam Watson who is
currently appearing in Matilda the Musical at the
Cambridge Theatre London (West End)
Good news all the way!
The price of our classes and private tuition is remaining the same as
2011 with the same great service that you have come to expect of us!
New Diamond Jubilee and
Olympic Awards
To celebrate this momentous year IDTA is introducing a new award to
celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of HRH Queen Elizabeth II and the 2012 London Olympic Games.
These awards will be available to all of our members who take an I.D.T.A. Medal Test at our Studio
during 2012.

Gary Adam Watson
Many students have enjoyed Gary's fun and exciting workshops at the Bishop Auckland Studio

Gary trained in Sunderland and Newcastle in all aspects of theatre before
completing his training at Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey.
Within a year of leaving college he was established as one of the UK’s new
leading men, going on to play the roles of Rum Tum Tugger in Cats
(UK Tour) Marius in Les Miserables (West
End), and Sky in Mama Mia! (International Tour).He
also appeared in Saturday Night Fever (West End),
Evita (West End) and was featured in the 25th
Anniversary Les Miserables Spectacular at the 02 London 2010.

During 2011 Gary completed a nationwide tour as a Guest Vocalist on the
Michael Ball tour, Heroes and played the lead
role of Claude in the Iconic Musical HAIR.
Gary is currently with the Royal Shakespeare Company playing the role of Rudolpho
in the Musical version of Matilda, at the Cambridge Theatre
(West End).
