We hold sessions at Bishop Auckland and Darlington in County Durham, Birtley in Tyne & Wear and Thornaby in Cleveland.

At Richardson’s we pride ourselves on having been established for over 20 years and bringing the great ‘Joy of Dance’ to many people, whether it be for fun, fitness or for those who may want to take it a little more seriously. We provide an excellent programme of dance classes and individual tuition for Children and Adults, from Beginners to Professionals, in many varied dance styles.

Richardson’s Dance Studio, Bishop Auckland is located in the Historic Conservation area of the town. The building has been completely renovated to accommodate what is now a fabulous, well equipped Dance Studio, with a sprung Canadian Maple Floor, Coffee Lounge and Dancewear Shop.

Richardson’s Dance Studio, Birtley is located in the heart of the main high street in Birtley. It features an extremely spacious Studio on the first floor of the Old Co-Op building with a fantastic dance floor space, and a very warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Adults can also choose from a wide selection of Dance Classes held at two other venues in the North East:

Darlington  Classes are held at the Education Village, Salters Lane South.

Golden Eagle Hotel in Thornaby, Classes are held in the spacious Dynasty Function Suite, on the first floor of the Golden Eagle Hotel. The function suite has a licensed bar and ample car parking spaces are available within the grounds of the Golden Eagle Hotel.
