At RDS we specialise in Adult Ballroom & Latin Dance Classes, Popular Sequence Dancing, Salsa, Private Tuition, First Wedding Dance Choreography and Social Dance Events. We pride ourselves on being established for over 35 years and sharing our passion of dance with so many people!  Whether it’s for fun, fitness or for those who want to take it a little more seriously, we have a class for you!

We provide an excellent choice of Adult Dance Classes and Private Tuition for both couples and individuals, from Complete Beginners to Advanced levels, available at our Studio in Bishop Auckland. We also run Dance Classes at other locations across the North East of England, including Darlington, Newton & Bywell, Bardon Mill.

Where are we?

Richardson’s Dance Studio – Bishop Auckland is located in the Historic Conservation area of the town.
Our building has been completely renovated to accommodate what is now a fabulous, well equipped, light and airy Dance Studio, with a Sprung Canadian Maple Floor, a comfortable Coffee Lounge, reception area and facilities.

RDS is close by to the Newgate Shopping Centre Multi Story Car Park, and just a short walk from the Bus and Railway Stations.
